On November 2nd, DP Shadow Foreign Minister Yukihisa Fujita and International Dpt. Director-General Hiroe Makiyama, both members of the House of Councillors, received a call from a newly appointed Counsellor of the Embassy of China, Ni Jian and his predecessor Counsellor, Shen Jianguo at the party headquarters.


Fujita and Makiyama welcomed the two Chinese officials and exchanged views on the recent Japanese politics.  They agreed on continuation of mutual exchanges between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party of China, that has lasted over the two decades.  Fujita and Makiyama thanked Shen for his commitments to our inter-party exchanges and his initiatives.
