In the afternoon of April 5, DP President Renho met with the Parliamentary Chairperson of the CDU/CSU (Christian Democratic Union of Germany and Christian Social Union in Bavaria) faction in the German Bundestag, at party headquarters.
The two agreed on the importance of the bilateral relationship between Japan and Germany. They also discussed the current international situation, as well as Japan and Germany’s various domestic systems and challenges.
The meeting was also attended by DP International Department Director-General Hiroe Makiyama and member of the House of Representatives Atsushi Oshima.
